Daniela Limbania (Class of 2021) was a neuroscience major with a minor in English. During her senior thesis, she worked on understanding synaptic diversity, excitation, and plasticity in motor neurons of fruit fly larvae in the Littleton Lab at MIT. She is fond of fruit flies as model organisms, and she is interested in how their internal states affect their behavior and decision making. Daniela is passionate about the human brain & body and aspires to become a neurosurgeon. Outside of the lab, she enjoys reading 20th-century literature, singing, and going on road trips with her friends.
