Avni Iyer (Class of 2023) is an intended neuroscience major on the premed track. She has a fascination with
neurodegenerative diseases, and she is interested in the implications of neurodegeneration in
decision making. Avni enjoys learning about the brain and hopes to pursue a career in
neurosurgery. On campus, Avni likes playing dramatic songs on the bell tower as a part of the
Guild of Carillonneurs. She is also involved in Ministrare Council and tutoring. In her free time,
Avni enjoys trying new coffee shops in Boston, going to the beach, hiking, and running around
Lake Waban.
